Berry Season Begins
It’s strawberry season in Northern Virginia. YUM! Strawberries are wonderful in their natural state, but they’re also great in baked goods — and that’s where Lola’s comes in.

Who molds the next generation? We all do our part, of course, but a few brave souls make it their mission: Mothers and teachers.
One may help a child to bake his/her first cake. Another may guide the child through a tough year of calculus. (Which is which?) For all they do, this is your week to be sweet in return.

Two new flavors, in fact. First are the delectable Banana Chocolate Cupcakes pictured here. These combine banana cake with our famous chocolate ganache and are topped with a banana chip.

8 Awesome Cupcake Flavors
If you’ve been to Lola’s lately, you’ve seen our beautiful new custom-made display case. It’s crafted from a single, naturally fallen Loudoun County oak tree and — here’s the great part — it holds twice as many cupcakes as the old case! We’ve taken advantage of the extra space to offer 8 different flavors daily, a new high for our little bakery.
New Spring Cupcakes
This past weekend we introduced the newest flavor in our cupcake lineup — and the Chocolate Toffee Cupcakes, shown here, sold out in a flash. We’ll be baking more all month so you can enjoy the milk chocolate cake topped with chocolate ganache, freshly-made caramel drizzle and pieces of toffee candy.
Treats for St. Pat’s Day
In honor of the Irish patron saint we’re offering three specials starting today. Shamrock Sugar Cookies, of course.

Long before we had a bakery, we started selling our cookies and scones from a stall at the Leesburg Farmers’ Market. Why there? Because the market is best place to buy “real food” — and real food is what we offer at Lola’s.
