Because it’s tough to write “Happy Birthday” on a cupcake, we also offer Lola’s scratch-made goodness in cake form. Every order is custom-made; our skilled decorators love to turn each customer’s vision into reality!

How to Order

To order your custom cake from Lola's, call or visit the bakery. We'll ask you the following questions — so be ready with your answers!

What size cake?
6-inch, 7-inch, 8-inch, 9-inch, or 10-inch?

What flavor of cake?
• Chocolate
• Madagascar Vanilla
• Coconut
• Red Velvet

What type of icing?
• Vanilla buttercream (any color)
• Cream cheese (white)
• Chocolate ganache (brown)

Message on top?
Also, any special instructions — use script writing, for instance?

Any other details?
Please be as specific as possible. Feel free to bring us a drawing or photo!

Customers Ask …

What kind of customization do you offer?
See this page for some examples. Basically, it starts with a standard round cake. We’ve done some fancy stuff, but if you truly need a cake that’s shaped like, say, Yoda, then Lola’s is not for you.

What does the "standard price" include?
It includes icing in virtually any color, a piped message on top, and a limited amount of customization. More customization is extra, as is fondant or gum paste.

How far ahead should I order?
Ideally, at least a week. Sometime we can fill a last-minute order, though, so never hesitate to ask.

Do you do wedding cakes?
We do simple, delicious wedding cakes — and lots of wedding cupcakes, too. See our Occasions section for examples. We don't do towering five-tier cakes.

Can you do a cake with Harry Potter on it?
On the advice of our Samoan attorney, we don't do licensed characters.

If I draw a design for my cake, can you make my design?
We love to get drawings from our customers! Please bring in your design and we'll talk about the best way to make it a reality.

If I give you a photo, can you print it on top of a Lola's cake?
Not our thing. Many local supermarkets offer this service for non-Lola's cakes, however.
